Tommy Gossett Clinches Spot in eNASCAR Free Agency with 13th-Place Finish in Texas Finale April 29, 2026- FORT WORTH, Texas

For Tommy Gossett, the journey to this moment has been anything but easy. Battling significant
health challenges that have long prevented him from pursuing traditional real-world motorsports,
the Tennessee and Florida driver has turned those obstacles into fuel for an impressive virtual
racing career on iRacing. On Tuesday night at Texas Motor Speedway, his perseverance paid
off in historic fashion.

Starting sixth in the Sim Racing Expo 150 — the 11-race finale of the 2026 eNASCAR
Coca-Cola iRacing Qualifying Series — Gossett drove a smart, consistent race in the NASCAR
Gen-7 Cup Series cars to finish 13th. That result locked him into 28th place in the final
standings with 2,576 points, clinching his advancement into Free Agency as one of the top 30
drivers. “This is my dream coming true,” Gossett said in a post-race statement. “I’ve faced a lot
of health difficulties throughout my life that made traditional racing seem out of reach. But
iRacing has given me the platform to chase this passion from home. To cap off the Qualifying
Series like this and earn my spot — To God be the glory!”

Competing with support from RYCO Performance and Gossett Buslines Gossett showed strong
early pace and held position through the opening stages of the 100-lap event on the 1.5-mile
Texas oval. He navigated traffic, managed strategy during green-flag runs, and avoided the
major incidents that shuffled the field, ultimately crossing the line in 13th in second split. The
steady run was exactly what he needed to stay above the cut line.

The Qualifying Series served as the primary pathway for aspiring drivers into the premier
eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series. Drivers competed in a mix of NASCAR Truck, Xfinity, and
Cup machinery across the schedule, with one drop race factored into the points. The top 30 now
advance to Free Agency, set for May 11-13, where they will compete for contracts with the 20
official teams ahead of the 2026 Championship Series.

For Gossett, this milestone is far more than a points total or finishing position. It represents
years of dedication, late-night practice sessions, and the fulfillment of a lifelong racing dream he
once thought impossible. “Tommy has shown incredible determination all season,” RYCO
Performance owner Ken Biron noted. “His work ethic and ability to perform under pressure —
especially given his personal challenges — make him a true inspiration to our team and the
entire sim racing community.” Gossett and the other qualifiers now prepare for the next chapter.
The eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series Championship season is scheduled to begin in
mid-May at Charlotte Motor Speedway.Congratulations to all who advanced — and best of luck
in Free Agency. Stories like Gossett’s are exactly why iRacing and eNASCAR continue to open
doors for passionate racers everywhere.
